Mat Movements + Week 2 Review

Bridge-and-turn lengths — tonight's escape hiding in the warm-upBridge high, turn over the shoulder, arrive on the knees

Setup: Staggered lines, one direction. Pairs form for the review half.

How it works: Lengths, twice each: bridges with a full hip turn (this IS tonight's escape — say so), shrimps, technical stand-up. Then week-2 review in pairs: three bullfighter passes each side at light resistance, finishing settled. The curriculum is a staircase — every warm-up rebuilds the step below.

What to say

  • Bridge over your shoulder and LOOK where you're turning — the head leads the roll.
  • Review passes: straight arms, feet moving, chest finishing low.

Easier

Bridges without the turn; review on a mannequin.

Harder

Review passes at half resistance.
