Corners of the Clock

Clock steps around a centre cone — buy the whole clock faceStep-drag to 2, 3, 9, 10 o'clock — always facing the cone

Setup: Each boxer in their own space with one cone as a centre point. The night's picture painted up front: most boxers live at 12 and 6 — forward and back — and tonight buys the whole clock face.

How it works: Round one: orbit the cone in stance — step-drag sideways around it one way, then the other, staying faced to the centre the whole lap. Round two: clock steps — from behind the cone, step-drag to 3 o'clock and home, 9 and home, then the diagonals to 2 and 10. Round three: the same clock at a bounce with your calls mixing the numbers. Feet learn the map before any punches use it.

Rounds: 3 × 90s, 30s rest

What to say

  • Face the cone the whole orbit — the feet travel, the weapons stay pointed.
  • Sideways steps: nearest foot first, never a crossover, same as ever.
  • Diagonal steps are the gold — 2 and 10 o'clock are where punches come from and answers do not.

Easier

Rounds one and two only, walking pace.

Harder

Round three adds a jab on arrival at every number.
